The meta box on a media page is gone after updating the latest version of Yoast SEO. I have no option to turn it on or off under Search Appearance >> Media (or any other tab as well). It’s also not under screen options.

Thanks for your help in advance.

When the ‘Media & attachment URLs’ are set to redirect attachment URLs to the attachment itself, the Yoast SEO meta box is not available. This is because the meta box settings no longer apply since the URL is not accessible due to the redirect.

Thank you for the reply. The meta box was there prior to the latest release, wasn’t it?

I went to bed using it, updated come the morning and it was no longer there. Just for my own sanity, mind you.

It was convenient for tweaking the url, if needed.

Version 9.2 (changelog) included this change.
