No Meta or Excerpt Option

The screenshots you shared, both are showing things that are coming from Elementor. It’s not from either this plugin or Astra theme.

Also, when I visit your Blog, I can see the posts have excerpt.

Please let me know if I am missing something.

Yes, the Asta starter templates theme uses elementor.

When checking the meta for the domain (which uses a page as the home page), it is using the onscreen text of the homepage for the description.

Not the meta text for the post.

It’s the theme. Not elementor.

If the theme is designed for elementor, and there is no excerpt section… It’s the theme.

I am using other starter templates which have an excerpt. This particular one does not seem to have it.

I know this has been marked as Resolved, however, let me try to clarify to make it clear.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot. Without it, I will never know that you actually talked about the Excerpt field in the page editor.

Well, this is not related to Starter Templates plugin. And on Astra theme, Excerpt field is available on Post but is not on Page. And this is not an issue. It’s uncommon for having excerpt on Page.

I hope that clarifies and clears any confusion you may have.
