no mod_rewrite Apache module on ISP

  • Hi
    My ISP does not have mod_rewrite Apache module and uses windows 2003 servers. They will not change and I do not want to move from them.
    Can I install wordpress with these constrictions?

  • Not having mod_rewrite available to you is not a problem. However, you won’t have “nice permalinks” and your URLs won’t be as friendly for search engines.
