No more “date setting” in “content types” tab ??
-
Hello,
First I searched the doc, the forums, the web… without succes.
Then, all is up-to-date, WP version, PHP version, theme, plugins.I’ve discovered with last update that Google’s preview now had a date in Yoast metabox… https://ibb.co/YQLXcNK
So I went in SEO setting > Content type where I’d double-check for the date setting of my pages because until now it was where to set up this setting, between the “show pages/posts/… in search results ?” and “show Yoast SEO metabox ?”. We can see it in your article here : https://yoast.com/show-x-in-search-results/#utm_source=yoast-seo&utm_medium=software&utm_term=info-search-results-settings&utm_content=settings&utm_campaign=wordpress-general&php_version=7.4&platform=wordpress&platform_version=5.5.1&software=free&software_version=15.1.1&days_active=30plus
But I don’t have this possibility anymore, screenshots : https://ibb.co/FJFXq0q and
https://ibb.co/5jJ3hTTWhen you look at Google ‘real life’ search, the date doesn’t appear yet, but with server-side cache, other caches… maybe it will happen, I’m waiting to see. I’m afraid because, as we discussed on this forum almost 4 months ago, on every update of Yoast plugin and/or every time I do some change into it, I’ve still the issue where the meta-title and meta-description will change on Google search for some time, not reflecting how I’ve written them in Yoast. After caches load again it get back ok.
Can someone help about the date issue, it looks like nobody here has the same problem ? What could have happened and how to solve it ?
Thanks very much for your help !
