• Hello,

from one day to another I can′t reach any sites via my submenus. Yesterday everything works fine…
In the main menu it works but any menu level below is no more linking.

    – I did not made any changes before issue but added a new post yesterday
    now…
    – I tried to delete submenu and made it new but its the same.
    – I have updated to evolve 4.2.3 – no change for this problem
    – I tried different browsers
    – All plugins are up to date
    – WP 5.3.2 is up to date

    No idea more ….

    Best regards
    Peter

  • @kpweist i can see the problem you describe, but maybe some plugin conflict. I have same versions in evolve and wordpress and many plugins and everything works fine.
Maybe deactivate plugins one by one to test?
    Let’s tag theme author @evgenyviner ?

I had never a problem with evolve and plugins installed before. Maybe an update of a plugin is the reason.
I have found somebody at involve support-forum with exactly the same problem and they checked his website. The last answer from theme4press is:

“It was an Evolve thing, that would “act out” under specific conditions. We are about to push a fix to everybody within the next couple of days, regulating this issue.”

I hope they do it soon….

Hi there. Yes, there is a problem that manifests itself in some cases, we will publish a fix today. Thanks

@evgenyviner Hi evgeny, what about the fa-icons in content boxes. We’ll have a fix for this too? Thank U

Hi, well this problem was already solved. If you are using the latest version, fa-icons in content boxes should change according to selection.

@evgenyviner i use the latest version but something happening since previous versions.
For example i used fa-bird fa-snowflake and now is not accessible. Has to do with version of fa supported?

@evgenyviner I′ve just updated to version 4.2.4 but still the same problem.
    No links in submenus!
The website is practically unusable for about a week. What can I do now?

    @evgenyviner
I found out that when I activate the WP plugin Booking Calendar, the submenus become unusable. but it′s only in Evolve theme. I tried some other themes in live preview and there is no such problem…

Yes, I wanted to write that this clash isn’t ours this time. Something in their code stops the menu from working, so I would suggest you raise the issue with their support.

@evgenyviner Hi evgeny. The site looks great but i wonder if something change with fa-icons. As mentioned above not all of them are available now (examples: fa-dove, fa-snowflake). It is not critical for my site… just curious…

    @evgenyviner

I′ve got answer from their support. He said:

If you can not click at the menu, so then probably at your page exist some JavaScript error.
I can suggest that its can be conflict with bootstrap library loading.

Please note, Booking Calendar is using Bootstrap library 3.3.5, if your theme or some other plugin is using other (older or newer) version of bootstrap so then possible an issues.

Can you tell something about Bootstrap library used in your theme?

@kpweist i think evolve is based on Bootstrap 4

    (@evgenyviner)

@nickpapag , you are correct. We use 4.3.1.

    (@evgenyviner)

@nickpapag as for the Font Awesome question, I’m not sure. We will look into it.

@evgenyviner Thank u Evgeny. Something happened for sure when the issue appeared a few months ago. Since then and after the corrections from you, in content boxes some fa-icons are not accesible when you search for them. Please test the fa-dove and fa-snowflake.
    Thanks again for your time!!!
