No more manual entry of ID?

    Maybe I’m missing something, but why can’t I manually enter my GA ID anymore? If that’s just the way it is now, I’ll be happy to switch to another GA plugin or the numerous other ways to have GA on my site, just want to know what’s up. Too bad, if that’s the case.

  • Did not read wall of text. Will you be allowing manual Tracking ID entry anymore or not?

    If not, we are all leaving.

    So in summary

    • They rewrote the settings section using VueJS
    • The manual UA code entry was accidentally dropped as a result of this
    • A fix will be in the 7.5 release
    • But there is not a set release date for this
    • They do not use the forums as a support channel
    • Preferred support channel for free users is via https://www.monsterinsights.com/lite-support/

    @chriscct7 I get the impression that not all plugin users are picking up on the sticky thread about your support. It might help to have some support info in the plugin description and the plugin itself.

    I’m too using Manual UA method for my personal websites and mostly Authentication method for my customer sites. Would love to get both options back again.
