No more thumbnails being created

Last night when uploading photos to my blog, thumbnails stopped being created. Checking wp-content/uploads/2007/09 shows no thumbnails after 6:11 last night.
When I browse the latest uploaded pics, instead of Thumbnail linked to file, I see Image linked to file.
I have searched for an answer but no luck. I am a 1 week old WordPress user!
