• Hi Developer

I tried to send you an email through your contact page – it does not accept any emails.

Why did you change the reCaptcha to v3 which has NO icon and works in the background (which no one knows how)?
When I saw that when had to get new site and security key – that there was NOTHING on my page showing reCaptcha – I did NOT like that. I want to have the icon I’m not a robot check.
Why did you arbitrarily change the version? Most people don’t like v3 which is invisible.

I actually restored your plugiun from backup to get the previous version back that can use my API key with the icon. (reCaptcha v2).

My question is – could you give the users an option of the version of reCaptcha they want to have on your Contact Form? If not, I won’t be updating your plugin anymore, i’m sorry. I don’t like and don’t want to have an invisible Recaptcha. This is the third party integration, and we should really be able to choose the version and the look…

if anyone else is not happy with this weird v3 reCaptcha – all you need to do is to restore the plugin file from your site backup and re-enter the site and secret keys for v.2 as I did.

    Back to normal.

    Hi Developer

It looks like you have an overwhelming response to your unfortunate update to v3 of reCaptcha that everyone hates – if you’d like us to continue using your Contact Form 7 – please give us the OPTION to select the reCaptcha version! Thanks!

One again – my advice to all affected users – you can easily restore from backup the plugin file (don’t need to do a FULL restore).

Hey Mr. plugin developer Takayuki Miyoshi,

what is your response to our complaints? Is it possible to have an option to choose between v2 and v3 of the Google reCaptcha? Are you willing to release a version of Contact Form 7 which lets us choose? Otherwise we need to find alternatives to your plugin… Not everybody likes the Google approach to stop spam with AI and data mining in v3 of reCaptcha.

    Hi Mr Developer

    Well Mr Developer
you have released another update 5.1.1 for reCaptcha – fixing something unimportant.
instead of giving us an option to choose the version of reCaptcha.

Clearly you have no intention of fixing that.

I’m thrilled to tell you that I have just UNINSTALLED your plugin and – listen up everyone! – I have installed a MUCH BETTER contact form plugin called
Ninja Forms where I can select everything including the version of reCaptcha I WANT.

Strongly recommend Ninja Forms plugin instead of this one – it is amazing! and yes, FREE!!!

    goodbye Mr Developer.

Sounds good magicpowers! I’ll give Ninja Forms a try and will promote it if it’s a good replacement for Contact Form 7. Seems the developer of CF7 is deaf, blind and not willing to hear to users complaints. It’s always good to have choices!

    You are welcome!

I’d say that the Developer is just…stubborn and inflexible. So be it.

I’ve just finished configuring my Ninja Forms – what a bliss! and this is a plugin for many different styles of forms not only contact!
    highly recommend it.
