No New Categories

  • Hello,

    I am using Page Builder by SiteOrigin to build my pages.
    My website has been set up for a while now and I just added this plugin so I can list all my Blog categories in widgets on one page.

    I installed this plugin and it saw the 4 categories (under “Limit to Category”) when I added the widget using Page Builder. Then I edited a category’s name and that displayed correctly in “Limit to Category”.

    Next I added a new category but the new category does not show up on the options page under “Limit to Category”.

    I also went to the property page of a new page to add the short code and the new category does not show up under “Limit to Category”

    I do run WP Rocket but I have cleared the cache and disabled the plugin.

    How do I get the “Limit to Category” to update with the new categories I create?

    Hello Rottie,

    Are there any posts assigned to the new category you had created? The plugin will not list categories that are empty.

    Anyway I’ve just checked adding a new category, and it lists properly if having at least one post assigned.

    Checked on a fresh install with Twenty Seventeen as my active theme.
