No New User Role

  • Buddypress 1.5 with WPMUDev Daily theme

    In the Settings tab, under General, I have the New User Default Role set to Author. I just registered a test user, and it has no capabilities. When I went into the user list, the role listed for this user says “none”. I can manually change it, but that’s not the point.

    What gives? Anyone have this before?
