No notification email sent when Signing up

    Hi,

    Thanks for an amazing plugin!

    When registering the user doesnt receive a confirmation mail nor do I see the user on the list participants page.

    I’ve gone through the setup guides as well as searched the support forum to no avail.
    I’ve placed the signup shortcode as well as the thankyou shortcode on a page but when I tried signing up using a dummy account I fill in the information and click sign-up and get sent to the “Thank you for reg.”page but I dont receive a confirmation e-mail nor do I see the the user in list participants page.

    Do you know what I could have missed?

    Do you have the [pdb_signup_thanks] shortcode on your thanks page?

    That the new signup doesn’t appear in the list is concerning, though. You should get that no matter what. Make sure that you aren’t filtering the list in the admin.

    If you still aren’t seeing your test signups in the list, you’ll need to dig a bit deeper, since that indicates something is wrong. You’ll need to set up your PHP error log and enable debugging in WordPress so that you can see what kinds of problems are coming up.

    Thank you for you quick answer!

    I managed to get the sign up to register on the signups list, the only thing remaining is that it refuses to send a notification mail upon signing up.

    Is there anything else I could try?

    Did you go through the Email Troubleshooter?

    That should help you identify the problem.

    Yes, I did thank you. Installing the SMTP mail plugin solved the issue.
