    If I understand correctly from the settings in Event Manager, there is a message that should appear after successfully making a payment. But when the screen returns from PayPal, I am just back at the event page, with no indication that any payment has been made or that the registration for the event succeeded. Otherwise, the customer does get confirmation email and the number of registrants is indeed incremented.

    I realize that I could redirect to a custom-designed page, but have not done so.

    I see no error messages when debugging in enabled. I am at a loss to understand what should be happening after payment.

  • I depends on if you are using IPN or the Pro Version. PayPal will only send confirmation if you are using IPN or the Pro Version. If not then the plugin doesn’t know if payment was made of not.

    I enabled IPN, but still no message is displayed after returning from a successful payment in Paypal.

    OK so it seems like the page isn’t picking up the IPN information.

    I don’t really have a lot of time to fix right now. This doesn’t mean I won’t fix it, it just won’t be a priority. Most people upgrade to the pro version and make use of in-context payments which has much better reporting and admin functions.
