    Hello,

there is no option to correctly save a draft. New post can go to pending status. If it is published then it can be edited and it can go to the same status, published. Or to pending status or whatever.

But what if someone is editing published post and click save as a draft? Then it’s offline. And then if he edits it again and click update then it’s again pending but it would be good to have it directly published because it was already published before. Or even if he is editing the post then it just the changes should remain in a draft version until it’s updated (republished). But not hidden in offline mode, imagine having a post for half a year on the site and then he just edits it and click save as a draft…

    Best,
    Karel

  • Hello @keengamer

    Thanks for reaching out.

By default, you can configure the edited post status as “published” in the post form settings section like this: https://snipboard.io/Wr4Go2.jpg.

Kindly configure the post settings like this and let me know the update.

Yes, it can be as Published. But what if I want to see and edit the posts from other users before publishing? Then it gets complicated and possible to solve if using a draft mode as well…

    Sorry for the late!

@keengamer WPUF doesn’t allow a user to access other users posts from the frontend.

However, as @tasfiamohtasim said, you can set an approval system for your user-submitted posts by making the post status “pending review”. This will help you review your user-submitted posts before publishing them on the platform.

I hope you got the point.
    Thanks!
