No options menu / excerpt question

1. i saw this option menu in another thread:

Archive: Standard
Tooltip (qTip): Light

..but i can’t find it anywhere..
2. All [glossary_term_list /] don’t work. I only see white space..
But i want the excerpt to show up, which you can add in the glossary term page
is there any shortcode like this?!
