No outgoing emails since upgrading to WP 3.5.1

    Hello,
    I am not receiving email notifications from my site anymore, since upgrading to 3.5.1. I had to upgrade manually because the automatic upgrade was not working, kept saying I needed to upgrade.
    When new accounts are created, no email is going out with the temporary password and login link.
    Forms on the site are not sending out notification emails and responses like they used to before the upgrade.

    Any ideas what may be wrong and how I can fix it?

    This suddenly resolved itself yesterday. Out of the blue I received almost 100 emails of form submissions, new user account notifications, database backups going back till about February 10th. Almost as though they had been held in a queue, unable to be sent until the barrier was removed and suddenly they were all free to go where they had to go.
    Strange.
