  • This was answered just the other day, and there’s a lot of answers found by doing a Forum search.

In essence, you have to have the comments stuff put into your page.php file.

    Thanks doodlebee,

Sorry – I asked too fast. I was searching on ‘comments’ instead of ‘pages’.

    Doodlebee,

You couldn’t point me in that direction, could you?

In what direction? On how to put comments in static Pages?

    ^ Yes please…

It’s there, in my previous post: you can click that link to see all kinds of forum responses/solutions. but basically, you need to place your comments call in your page.php file. By default, it doesn’t have it – but you just have to copy it from your single.php file.

I’m having similar troubles (comments in static pages), and I tried putting the code from single.php into page.php. Am I placing the right code into it? I’m not even sure what the correct code to place would be.
