no page shown: conflict with WPML?

experiencing the same problem with 2 plugins, Post Type Switcher and pType Converter.
i first disabled WPML (as suggested on WPML), did the conversion and it worked (WPML translations showed up as different pages).
then i re-activated WMPL and clicked on ‘Remove ghost entries from the translation tables’ and ‘Set language information’ after re-activation: no trace of the new page.
not sure version 1.2 fixed the problem.
