I’m new to worodpress, and of course woocommerce too. I’m trying to build a small store with a blog, but, when I`m adding new pages, there are no blog (or contact, or any other) template. I mean, the list of page templates is empty.
The woocommerce pluggin version is 2.6.8, and I’ve used several themes: twenty fourteen/fifteen/sixteen, none of them has any template. Llorix One Lite has some, but no Blog or contact.

    What’s going wrong??
    Thanks.

  • Dashboard > Settings > Reading > Front page displays = ?
you have two choices, either set your front page to be your blog page, or, set your front page to be some static page you have made and your blog page to be some other page you’ve made.

    Thanks, @lorro. That should work.
But I still would like to know if this is the normal behaviour of woocommerce, or just some kind of bug.

No bug, that’s how WordPress works. Some premium themes may come with a blog page template, but if so, this is an additional feature.

WooCommerce and blogs are independent parts of WordPress, not parts of each other.

WooCommerce will setup its own pages when it installs, no need to worry about templates. WooCommerce comes with its own templates.

    OK. Thanks again.
