I have WordPress 2.9.2 setup and its been running for a few weeks just fine (www.arrowpointe.com).

As recently as last night (June 1 2010) I was editing pages in the admin console.

I went in this morning and when I go to the Edit Pages link, I get the message “No Pages Found.”.

On the Dashboard, it shows 23 Pages. In the counts on the Edit Pages screen I see “All (23) | Published (23) | Trash (2)”, but no pages are actually listed.

I tried the Edit Posts page and all is fine with that page. It’s just Edit Pages.

The website itself is coming up fine and I can see all of my Page records in the MySQL database.

    Any ideas?

If anyone knows the SQL statement that Edit Pages uses to find all the Pages for that list, it would be very helpful to get. I can then test it and see where it’s going wrong.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

I had already tried switching to the default theme and it didn’t fix it.

I thought it was due to the wp-super-cache plugin, but that didn’t seem to fix it.

HOWEVER, I was out of WordPress all day and just came back to the admin console and I could see the Pages again. I have no idea how or why this happened, but it did.

So it’s resolved for now, I guess, but am not sure how. Will post back if it happens again.

Next time I will deactivate ALL plugins as a troubleshooting step.
