• I’m new to WordPress. Previously, my sites were created and managed in Dreamweaver, but my current site includes a blog, so I figured WordPress would be the best way to go.

I bought a themeforest theme, but my site rendered incorrectly in Chrome. After many hours of troubleshooting, I finally found that the problem is the result of a bug in Chrome.

I then bought a studiopress theme and spent many hours tweaking. My site rendered correctly — except in the Mac version of Firefox. I haven’t started troubleshooting that issue yet. First, I’d appreciate some general words of wisdom.

Is it the case that there will always be noticeable site issues, WordPress or not, just because that’s the nature of the beast? Or is it that the default WordPress themes can be relied on, but issues should be expected with any third-party theme? Or what?

Are there WordPress developers who, for a flat monthly fee, will do whatever it takes to ensure a site renders and works properly, on an ongoing basis, regardless of platform, browser or device?
