    Hello!

When I try to access the Koko page (analytics or settings), it shows a “No permission error.”

I checked the user role capabilities and noticed that the “koko” capabilities are missing. Is there any way to regenerate this? Or, even better, is there a script to use the “default capability” to access the plugin?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello @hugosilva23,

When you activate the Koko Analytics plugin, it will try to get the user with role administrator and add the manage_koko_analytics and view_koko_analytics capabilities to that user.

So you could try deactivating (not uninstalling, as that will wipe your data) and then re-activating the plugin to see if that adds the required capabilities.

Alternatively, you can use a plugin like User Role Editor to add these capabilities to your desired user roles.

    Hope that helps, good luck!

    I have the same problem.

    Fresh install.

I use the “admin” account with all rights activated.

    Deactivating does not help.

UPDATE: Deleting the plugin & reinstalling fixes it!

@ntvmd Glad to hear it! I’ll take a look at what could be causing that not working in the first place.

This has been fixed in version 1.4.0 so that the correct capability is now really added when you first activate the plugin. Thanks to both of you for pointing me in the right direction!
