No picture when I post website to Facebook

  • Hi,

    I don’t know if this is beyond the scope of the help you give here, but here goes:
    I just finished my site and I want to let people on my Facebook page know about it. When I type in the domain for my site, it posts but without a picture, it’s just a box with the domain name inside it. I have six pictures as sliders on the home page and I thought I would be able to choose from those.

    What are you using to post to Facebook? For example I use Jetpack and unless I set a featured image on my post the picture will remain blank on FB.

    Oh, I just went to Facebook and typed in https://hostaldebelenantigua.com.

    Also, I don’t have any blog posts, just pages, and that is the address to the main page of the website. I don’t know what Jetpack is but I’m going to look into it and try it out. I will let you know how it goes.

    Just don’t forget to add a featured image to that page (I’m 99.999% sure you can…) as Jetpack uses that to send the image to FB for that post. ??
