OK, managed to fix it by going to photonics-options-manager and switching from Swipebox to Fancybox. The only thing that doesn’t work now is that I no longer have an “X” sign to close the gallery.
Any idea on how to fix this?

    Thanks.

Changed the Z-index to 100 and seems to have fixed the issue.
    Hope it’s the right choice.

The same thing happens to me, could you explain where to change the Z-index?
    Thanks a lot. I’m desperate.

    Hello again,
So far I have solved it by installing the jQuery Migrate plugin.

We will hope that they solve it with a patch.

You are right – this does seem like an issue that is resolved using jQuery Migrate. Some of the lightbox scripts (Fancybox, Swipebox etc.) are quite old and have code that does not work with new versions of jQuery.

I will work on patching them.

    Perfect, we’ll wait.
    Thank you

I can confirm that the Swipebox issue is due to old code incompatible with the new jQuery. I provided a fix to the author of Swipebox (https://github.com/brutaldesign/swipebox/issues/383#issuecomment-742130274) – hopefully it will get merged. I will make edits in the version that I distribute with Photonic.

Let me look at the other scripts that I bundle with Photonic.

This should be fixed in the version I just released, 2.60.
