I have search all over for an answer to this question, but i cant find it. I have not been able to use any plugins with my WP installation!

I just upgraded from 2.0.2 -> 2.0.3 but that didnt change anything.

I have checked permissions on my server, and tryed to look into php files in the plugins and in WP to try to find an answear. But nothing.

Is it just me who is dumb, or is this a real problem? Anyone has experienced something like this before?

  • Properly installed plugins can be found under (Admin pages) “Plugins”. Some plugins have a sub/additional menuitem which may appear under “Options”, or as a sub-menu of “Plugins”.

I have tried numerous plugins who claims to have a settings-tab under the “options” menu in the adminpanel. None of them have showed up!

I have had my WP installation for several months now, and I still havent figured it out. Though i havent worked on it actively all the time … ??

    Have you enabled them?

They are enabled or “activated” as default. Isnt that normal?

I have tried to deactivate and activate them a couple of times, but it didnt help…

My experience is that they are not activated. You have to click on “Activate”.

When it says “Deactivate” it is activated… (It’s a ‘toggle’)

Doh! My bad. Im norwegian, so I read the Activate buttons as if they where active. Lol!

    Thanks!
