• I have been using your plugin for quite some time very happily I might add. The plugin stopped working on February 9 and hasn’t expired any posts since. I have tried deactivating, reactivating, uninstalling, reinstalling, and no dice. Any help/advice/troubleshooting tips, anything would be great.

    Kind regards and thanks,

    Aaron, thanks for the reply. I turned on debugging yesterday and today this is what I found,

    @pat Great!

    @terri Let’s see what that post does at the scheduled expiration time on the 18th. Can you post back the log message after the expiration date passes?

    What do you see on the diagnostics page? Does WP-Cron say that it is enabled? Do you see any scheduled events for post expirator?

    My hunch is that something changed with your install/host that may have disabled WP-Cron, which is required for the plugin to work.

    This is obviously just a small portion of the schedule. If the entire thing will help I can screenshot it or paste it in a doc, anything to help resolve this. I did notice a weird thing, the topmost item is dated 1999?

    Thread Starter Coupon Terri

    (@coupon-terri)

    Okay, I see now where this is chronological from the oldest to the latest, going down the page. So here is a portion of the latest report starting with the latest scheduled items. I hope this helps,

    Terri: It looks like cron events are not working on your blog. Who is your web host? Did you change anything major with the core of your WP install when this stopped working? It’s not only postExpirator that is not working, but it looks like other plugins/functions are not working correctly.

    I’m having the same problem. Nothing change in my host (at least I think it)… I don’t know how see the debug log.

    It’s solved?

    Thanks

    [ No bumping please. ]
