The plugin doesn’t seem to work. Show by category shows the category list and nothing else (no posts). Show by author and title shows nothing at all. Figure I would give the dev a chance before posting a 1-star review. WP v.6.4.3, PHP 8.1

Thank you for giving me a chance, but I have to tell you that the plugin is working in >1,000 sites. PHP 8.1 and WP 6.4.3, plugin version 2.8.1
Can you pls give me more info? Which is your shortcode?

For example, this shortcode: [ACT-list show=’Category,Author,Title’ postdate=1 exclude=’upcoming-classes’] results in this page: https://rockymountaininsight.org/dharma-talks/

And yes, there are posts with these categories.

By clicking on the Category name, it should list all posts belonging to that category, but there aren’t.

In addition, are you sure that the excluded category “upcoming-classes” exists and it is not mispelled? With tthat shortcode you are asking to list all posts NOT belonging to “upcoming-classes”.

You can see an example here:
    https://www.atopon.it/indice-degli-articoli/
    with the shortcode:
    [ACT-list show=”Category” exclude=”notizie”]

I have been moving stuff around but “Uncategorized” has posts. I applied “Meditation” to one of them, so one is now there as well. Also, “upcoming-classes” indeed exists and is spelled that way. The short code was generated from your plugin, after all.

As an aside, showing nothing when there are no posts to a category is not a well though out UI. It needs to have some indication that the particular level is “empty”.

If this is a single user Site (only author is the admin) remember to include singleuser=1 in the shortcode.
I need more info, other than “it should work”, otherwise I can’t help.

There are multiple authors as well. You would have seen that if you bothered to click on the “uncategorized” category, which exemplifies how your plugin IS NOT WORKING. I never said it *should* work–you are saying that. I am saying it *doesn’t* work, which is clear from the link I sent.

Ok. I can’t stand anymore with your rudeness. You are not giving me any information on your system, your site etc., so I can’t help you.
Thousands of users are happy with the pkuging,. I am sorry for you.
Pls remove it and live happy.
