No “presentation” in my admin panel

    I just uploaded WordPress to my Host Gator account. I also uploaded a theme. I chose the theme because it had the two column layout with top and left navigation and header and footer.

    I would like to put in my own header image and pure CSS left and top navigation with sub menu’s on left. In all instructions I have read it states to go to the “presentation” tab in my admin. panel. I don’t see this. I only have a Dashboard and nothing in it (that I can find) points me to the style.css.
