No products on Shop page

– Consider a theme update to the latest 1.3

Unfortunately, none of the suggestion worked.

Your shop page body tag doesn’t include an “archive” class, and this is abnormal. The Supro demo shop page, your category pages and shop pages in other themes do have this class. So it looks like WooCommerce doesn’t recognise your Shop page as its shop page.

I note you have checked Woocommerce -> Settings > Products -> Shop is the correct page, but I would double check that. If the problem persists, delete the shop page and also delete it from the bin. If there are any old shop pages in the bin, delete those also. Double check you have no other/former Shop pages in the list of pages. Make a new page and set it as the Shop page.

This is weird, indeed. I followed your advice and created a new page but no luck. I also tried using the Twenty Twelve theme, deactivated all plugins in hopes one of them might be the issue but no. Even downgraded the plugin but nothing changes.

Hello again,

Since I tried all possible that I know of and nothing changed, I made a new WordPress website. Copied the child theme, all pages, plugins, started uploading the media and suddenly the problem occurred again. This time choosing the main theme helped.
So, my question is – What should I look for/ avoid in the child theme? What could be the cause of this problem?

I guess I got happy too early.

I found out that removing the woocommerce folder in the child theme temporarily fixed the problem but after ~30min and transferring reviews and payment settings, the Shop page showed no products.

Restored the database once and then activated the plugins one by one to check if any causes the problem. The ‘User submitted posts’ triggered the problem so I deactivated and deleted it.
Restoring the database fixed the problem again until we added a new post.

Obviously, everything triggers the Shop page to show NO products!

Do you have any suggestions to what may be the cause of this?

Anyone having trouble getting their “Shop Page” or “Category Page” to display product thumbnail images? Try this:

Make sure to have your site opened in a separate window so you can refresh the page to see if changes take. Refresh every time you make a change so you know which setting did the trick!

1. Go to Dashboard

2. Go to Appearance> Customize> WooCommerce> Product catalog> Shop page display> Show products

NEXT:

Got to Appearance> Customize> Content Options> Featured Images> (Select all of these check boxes: ? Display on blog and archives, ? Display on single posts, ? Display on pages).

If after checking through your site you see anything you don’t want to appear, simply go back and un-check one of the selections, refresh your test window (second open browser with loaded site) and see if it is fixed as you wish.

I sincerely hope this was helpful. I could not find the answer to these issues satisfactorily on any forum and had to find it myself through trial and error. My hope is that this will save many people countless hours of frustration. Best of luck!

Please open a new issue is if you still have troubles.

I had the same issue. The body tad did not have the archive class but a default page class.

I resaved permalinks and now it works again.
