In attempting to make a field (“File Number”) clickable to Edit a “Participant,” I created a Custom Template and modified the second loop per your instructions.

The field does become clickable, as anticipated, despite that it’s not Read Only (which your instructions specify), but the resulting page shows “No Record Was Found.”

I reverted back to the Default Template, and, as an Admin-level user, went to the Dashboard page /wp-admin/admin.php?page=participants-database, clicked the Private ID, as it would be the same “Edit Participant” link, and I’m getting No Record Was Found from there, also.

I’ve not modified anything in the plugin files; only set variables within the Dashboard, created a form with fields, and such.

I’ve also searched through the past 17 pages of Support entries here at https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/participants-database, which, of course, was manual, because WP doesn’t provide a way to search THIS PLUGIN’s SUPPORT posts.

I would be ever so grateful, if anyone could point me toward a solution.

Well, that was easier than I thought!

I had pdb_single set up and thought it to be the same as pdb_record. They are not, and now I have the ‘record’ page set up.

All is well! Leaving original post and this resolution, in case anyone has the same issue.
