Hi, We’re using this plugin as an event manager for internal college functions.

Is it possible to hide or otherwise turn off the “Event Registration” form on the event itself?

We really want to register people for events ourselves and use the Send Mail function to send out reminders. Since attendance isn’t optional for some of these events we’d like to simply remove the form all together from the event page.

I tried using a blank template for the registration form but there were 2 issues.
1: It still shows the “Not all required fields are present in the booking form. (* marks a required field)” text on the event itself.
    And
2: It uses that same template for the internal “Register New Booking” function in the Dashboard, which is Blank and therefore not functional.

Also, is it possible to automate the sending of emails like a reminder say, a day before the event and then an hour before the event or something like that? Perhaps with a cronjob or something?

It would be fantastically helpful if you could use the “People” section to pre-register people with the Events Made Easy Plugin, and sort them into “groups” or “Categories” and then pre-register entire groups for certain events.

I’d love to be able to keep a list of people who are on a certain committee for instance and pre-register them for a meeting and have the plugin send them emails reminding them of the meeting.

If you don’t want to show the registration form, then don’t use the placeholder #_ADDBOOKINGFORM in the single event format.
Since wordpress doesn’t have a real cron-function, I haven’t spent time looking into that (yet).
