    Hello,

I have a high count of pages which show no related posts even though there are plenty of related posts on the website.

Does YARPP gives preference to category or tags of a page to determine relevant posts? I remember there used to be this configuration available in earlier version and then it got hidden. Even if tag/category matching is not considered a full match, it should still show ‘slightly’ relevant posts based on this factor rather than giving the ‘no related posts’ error.

As an example the following url contains a post which is related to hundreds of posts via not only tags but with words, but still i am getting no related posts message. If i lookup even one tag (url provided), i can see hundreds of examples with matching tag and wordings.

    Example page with problem:
    https://www.funinfinite.com/13193/a-ghazal/
    Tag to consider:
    https://www.funinfinite.com/tag/shayari/

Please let me know what steps to take to get around this issue.

    Thanks

  • The configuration still exists. In the YARPP settings, go to “screen options” and turn on the “relatedness” options. There, you can lower the “match threshold” to maybe 1 or 2 and then save. See if that helps.
