    hello,

i’ve just installed the plugin and created a dummy account to submit a ticket which was fine but i can not see a reply option as a user to respond. i also did not receive admin’s replies. it just says “in progress”.

    thank you

    Hello:

So on the front-end you don’t see a reply area for the user to type in the reply? Can you attach a screen shot of both your my-tickets page and the ticket detail page (the page you see when you click on any ticket).

Lets fix this issue first before tackling the other two you mentioned. One thing at a time.

    Thanks.

    sorry for not explaining better.

    yes that is correct.

i signed up as a user, submitted a ticket, checked in backend and replied to the ticket. the user account can not see response or a reply button if i have understood correctly.

    please see link for screenshots.

    Hi:

Yeah, it looks like your theme or another might be doing something weird there on the front-end. Any chance you can temporarily switch to the WP 2016/17 theme and see if the front-end renders the data?

    Thanks.

you’re absolutely right. i’m using divi theme, clean wordpress install, no other plugins. I switched to 2017 and then all worked fine. any suggestions or anyone else with the same issue?

I should have mentioned that I inserted the shortcode in divi builder

    Hi:

We use DIVI as our theme on our site and I know there are other users that use it too. But I don’t think we add the shortcode inside the builder. What happens if you convert the page to a a non-divi builder page and use the shortcode?

    Thanks.

    same, it doesn’t work

hmmm…in that case it could be something else that is conflicting. What if you leave divi on with Awesome Support and turn off everything else?

Also, what version of the divi theme are you using?

    Thanks.

    didn’t have anything else.

just reinstalled everything on a new sub domain and seems to be working fine. very odd.

thank you for your help and time.

lastly, is it suppose to have 2 “my tickets” pages?

    (@awesomesupport)

No, if you did a fresh install, it should only have one my tickets page.

    Thanks.

PS: Sometimes DIVI does weird caching with its CSS and Javascript files. Since reintalling on another domain fixed the issue I suspect that’s the issue you were running into.
