sorry but it’s happened again. i put in a bit of css in divi theme options to style “content view” and the replies from admin to user just vanished.

any help would be much appreciated.

    thank you

    Hi:

Thanks. hmmm…I’m not sure how else we can help – we’ve activated divi on our site and can use the shortcode just fine. In fact, our demo site here (asdemo.flywheelsites.com) uses the divi theme.

There are limits to how much we can help in this forum because nothing is hands on. What version of the divi theme are you using? What version of WordPress and PHP?

    Thanks very much.

sure, it’s a clean and latest install of divi and wordpress.

    thanks

    Hi:

We just upgraded that demo site to the latest version of divi and it works fine. There’s got to be something different about your configuration – maybe the host is caching something they shouldn’t?

    Thanks.

thanks for looking. is there a way to clear cache?

    (@awesomesupport)

    Hi:

There are multiple types of caches. You can try clearing your browser cache, any CDN cache you might have, any plugin cache that might be installed. Each of those components have a different way to clear their caches. Since you said you’re on a clean install of WordPress I assume you don’t have any CDN or PLUGIN caches so those two probably don’t matter. So just clear your browser cache.

Your host might also have a caching system that you would have to ask them how to clear that – each host has a different method of doing it.

    Thanks.

Oh, and DIVI also does some sort of css caching and minimifcation – you’ll want to turn those options off in the divi theme options settings.

    Thanks.

thanks. i tried that and different browsers too.

Also, can you show screen shots of what you’re seeing?

    php ver 7.1

i should see admin response and reply button etc…

    very strange

    (@awesomesupport)

Yeah, that is strange. When you login as admin, everything is ok on the back-end, right? Its just the front end page?

Can you open up your browser console and see if there are any javascript errors showing on the page?

Also, what language is the site in? It looks like english but just wanted to make sure.

    Thanks.
