No reply to my problem. Desperate (Attachment pages indexed. Hundreds)

    Not sure why, but since redoing my site, I now have over 500 pages indexed. This is due to the damn attachment pages. Somehow though, I’ve not changed my all in one settings yet I have the problem where all the attachment pages are being indexed EVEN though I have them this set to yes.

    Redirect Attachments to Post Parent:

    I am deperate to fix this problem, as it causing me a big issue. Can someone PLEASE help me. Thank you

    I also have default to noindex – media as ticked but no luck.

    I had the same issue and figured the following:

    You need to check Media both at “SEO On Only These Post Types” AND at “Default to NOINDEX”.

    Also, if they were already in Google, taking these steps may not get them removed quickly. For this you’d want to have them removed in Google Search Console.
