No requests in “Reports” section

    Hi, I’ve been testing the free version for just under a month. Everything seems to work, but then no PA-API requests are registered in the “Reports” section. Why? Thanks.

    Hi,

    Please make sure the followings:

    – you set PA-API keys via Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Settings -> Associates along with your Amazon Associates ID (tag).
    – you select the locale under the graph and press Set in Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Reports -> PA-API Request Counter.

    Even if you do that and still don’t see any counts logged, enable the plugin debug mode by going to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Settings -> Misc -> Debug Mode and enable it and check Back-end. Then go back to the PA-API Request Counter page. At the bottom of the page, some details should be shown. You can post them here.

    It appears no requests are logged.

    Can you try this by going to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Settings -> Associates and make sure the Access Key and Secret Key fields are filled as well as the Associate ID field. Then press the Check API button. After that, go back to the report page and see if the number is increased, especially the File Log section of the debug output.

    If you don’t see any number increasing there, go to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Help -> About, and in the [Plugin Site Temporary Directory] section of the File Permissions text area field, find the entry that says writable. Let me know what it says. It should say Yes.

    In Associates everything is ok. Status is connected. If i push “check API” button, then start to count, but after some time every log goes to 0.

    I guess your server deletes the plugin temporary directory too often.

    You can try a custom temporary directory by inserting the following code in your theme functions.php file.

    Please make sure you have Auto Amazon Links v5.2.8 or above.

    Can you check if the directory named auto-amazon-links is created? Also, post your plugin version.

    5.2.8 plugin version and directory exist with 2 subfolders: ephemeral and log

    Please try the development version 5.2.9b01 and with this version, the custom directory should work.
