No revenue reported in Google Ads

I have been trying for some time to figure out why my Google Ads account does not show revenue or orders in it’s reports.

I am using both UA and GA4.

When I debug with https://tagassistant.google.com/ after a purchase I noticed part of the data layer says the following:

items: [{quantity: 1, price: 12, id: “276”}]

My understanding is that id should be item_id as documented by Google here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/7688538?hl=en#zippy=%2Cnew-api-examples-only%2Clegacy-api-examples-only%2Cretail

Is this a known bug?
