Hi I have 2 hosting with godaddy with postie plugin and one of then is giving below error:
site : https://iuvclub.today
getemails: There was an error connecting to the server No route to host

At the same time another godaddy hosting https://thainews.today work fine with postie but every time i have to r “process mail” manually inspite of having schedule “twice per hour” and DISABLE_WP_CRON: Off.

This plugin have awesome features but somehow i always end up with some problem.

i m able to solve no route error by changing email email server from imap.asia.secureserver.net to imap.secureserver.net as i think my hosting is not in Asia and the fw was blocking use remote imap/pop instead of local imap/pop server.

But still i am facing issue with cron, can please help me for the same?

both sites have 5K+ daily visitors nd as mentioned in initial post DISABLE_WP_CRON is Off.

and there is no setting in wp-config.php as well.

WordPress cron essentially does a visit to https://iuvclub.today/wp-cron.php

Do you have a caching plugin that caches this page?

i guess i do have godaddy caching but its not plugin so i dont have control on it.

My guess at this point is that some other plugin is interfering with the cron process.

You might try installing something like WPX Cron Manager Light to see what is going on with your cron. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wpx-cron-manager-light/

Hi, thanks for help but i am able to fix the issue.
I was also facing problem while editing .php files from theme editor after updating WP 4.9 and to resolve the php editing issue i installed “wp editor” plugin.

After installing the plugin i am able to resolve both problems (postie cron and php editing) and i guess the problem is with 4.9 but not sure where.
