No Search block when adding new movies

I installed the plugin on one of my websites about six months ago and it works great. I recently installed it on a different site and it isn’t working properly. When I go to add a new movie, the block named ‘movie’ has the text “Search Database” but there’s no search box. I’m not sure if I’m missing something but I’d love to get it working on this second site.
I tried disabling every other plugin and there was no change.
