    @katrinachambers:
    Hi there,
    Thanks for your feedback!

    Thanks for trying out my plugin, I am sorry if you had any trouble!

    As may have read here in the other threads:
    My plugin only provides a “search form” that means a search input field (but with more options!), it does NOTHING to the results display.
    If the built-in search function of bbPress itself will not work on your site/ with your theme, then my plugin also cannot do anything.

    Thankfully, you provided your URL, so I could test if bbPress search is working on your site: sadly, it is not. So it is clear that my plugin also cannot provide results – it depends on proper functioning of bbPress built-in search!

    this is what I tested:
    https://designtribe.com.au/forums/search/test/
    https://designtribe.com.au/forums/search/rules/
    —> It DOES NOT display any forum-specific stuff!

    Reason(s)? I really don’t know why. However, most likely in such cases it is the theme! As the theme handles display of search results! Please activate one of the packaged “Twenty*” themes that come with WordPress and then test again.

    Also, if you have any plugins active that do something with WP’s search, try to deactivate them. You can also try to deactivate all plugins and activate one after one. Start activation with bbPress itself, obviously.

    You should also contact the theme author to make sure the theme is compatible with bbPress plugin.

    Sorry, I can’t do more about this.

    Thanks, Dave ??
