    Hi,

The plugin works fine in its latest release and with the latest WordPress. If you see any changes in pages that should be restricted, make sure that the plugin is active, the access restrictions are still in place and try to rule out any conflicts with other plugins you might have added since or due to changes that have been made to your site (other than the updates of Groups and WordPress itself).

    Cheers

the odd thing is it’s been running fine for a couple years and nothing has been changed or added to this site in awhile – just the updates – WP and all plugins are updated.

You should definitely check what has changed as I’ve outlined above, also you can try to disable other plugins to see if anything is conflicting. If you have a backup of your site before you upgraded all plugins, you can also compare it.

Oddly the issue was caused by a record inserted into the groups_user_group
table for user_id = 0. It opened the site for everyone. I’m investigating how that might have been possible.

Thanks for the update on that. If you find anything please feel free to post your findings, I’ll mark this this thread as resolved for now.
