No sent confirmation

Installed your slick little plugin and had no trouble connecting to mailchimp and capturing emails in the list I set up. Only trouble is it never show the message “Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.”
Instead “/fading-squares.gif” keeps running. I have deactivated every plugin except Contact Form 7 and MailChimp Extension.
