I have installed WP Shopify and done all the API settings etc. It appears linked to the Shopify account. But I still don’t have WP Shopify as a separate menu item on my WP menu. It just shows up as a submenu item under settings so I don’t have any of the options to sync it/connect it properly.

Any suggestions on what I have done wrong/how I can get it to show up properly?

Your configuration is correct, please use the shortcodes in your pages, that’s the functionality which is available in the basic version. Sync functionality is not part of the plugin. Let me know which video tutorial are you watching for the settings?

I have watched a few different videos. Is there one you can recommend about how to use those short codes?

I have taken the API details from Shopify to WP fine, but I’m not sure what to do with those short codes in WP. Do they go somewhere in Shopify to sync the two?

Actually there is no sync, you just need to copy/paste the appropriate shortcode in the text editor and it will start working. There are other plugins with the resembling names, I doubt you are watching the mix of them.

Copy/paste the appropriate shortcode into which text editor?

Is there a video that explains this?

Copy/Paste thing shortcode to any texteditor is the basic functionality of WordPress, it is not something related to this plugin only. Please schedule a Google meeting so I can help you better if you are facing difficulty in implementation.
