• I was really excited to use this plugin because it would have been an upgrade from QR Codes for Woocommerce plugin.
I installed the Kaya QR Code Generator plugin, and at first, I could not find the setting section. This plugin really needs UX help, it was not user friendly. Suggestion for the developers, add a setting section where you can configure the plugin instead of having to go into each product and configure it…that was super annoying.

    Hello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.

I’m sorry that the UI made you confused. Indeed, the plugin doesn’t have any setting section because there are no general settings used. Any Qr Code generated is unique and come from a widget and/or a shortcode.

The Shortcode generator assistant is available on pages, posts, WooCommerce products, and any public custom post types and is used to assist on the shortcode structure construction. The generated shortcode must be pasted on a “shordcode block” or directly in the page content.

Maybe, having a general page in the dashboard with the Shortcode generator assistant can be more helpfull and/or a disclaimer to warn that the generator assistant displayed on pages administration don’t affect anything on the page content, what do you think ?

    Thank you, best regards.
