    Hello,
I have Complianz running on this site. The cookie banner appears, but I cannot make any settings as to whether I accept Google Analytics or not.

In the setup wizard, I have specified that the individual cookies should be named and acceptance should be requested.

    What am I doing wrong?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello,

To allow the user to accept more cookie categories for specific purposes.(like GAnalyitics in the Statistics Cookies), please navigate to Consent Banner > Appearance > Categories > Accept – Deny – Save Preferences.?Once done the banner will shows you the preferences (cookie categories) and the user will make his choice.

    Regards.

Thank you that worked. But it’s not blocking Google Analytics althought I deactivated it.

    Hello,

I’m glad we are making progress. The .js file is fired but requires user consent to obtain the data. You can block analytics.js by navigating to Integrations > Script Center > Block a script, iframe, or plugin. Here, insert the analytics.js URL to block it before user consent is given. Make sure to check “This script contains an async attribute” and select the Statistics category. Once done, save everything.

    I hope this helps!

I did that, but it’s still not blocking.

    Hello @p_e_z ,

After further inspection, I can confirm that Complianz is blocking Analytics in all instances where the user blocks the Statistics cookies. Even if the analytics.js script is loaded, it is necessary to fire the scripts only when consent is given. I made a video demonstrating this behavior: please check here. You can see that when cookies are accepted, the analytics script fires normally. However, if I reject the cookies or customize my choices by not selecting the Statistics cookie, the analytics script will not fire the others since it is classified as a “Statistics cookie”.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
