• I just installed this plugin and uploaded the IP2LOCATION-LITE-DB1.BIN file in ‘wp-content/plugins/ip2location-country-blocker’ per the installation instructions. I can activate or deactivate the plugin but there is no ‘settings’ option on my dashboard.

This is a bit beyond my area of knowledge so I’m not sure how to troubleshoot it.

    Thanks

Can you check your server log for any possible error?

No errors showing in the log…

The first time I installed it I saw a button for uploading the BIN files. I uninstalled the plugin and tried again and that button did not appear.

I have multiple wordpress sites hosted on the same server. I’ll try installing on another site to see what happens.

    Thanks

I successfully installed on another blog and downloaded the BIN file with the token. Just did a preliminary test and it seems to be working fine.

I removed and reinstalled on the first blog and still can’t get to any settings in the dashboard.

I have a few others to install on as well.

    Thanks

Found the problem was with 2 sites that were running an old Thesis 1.8 theme. After changing themes the IP2 Location Blocker settings were accessible in the Dashboard.
