Hi – I have installed and activated WooCommerce Shipping & Tax but In my WooCommerce settings in Shipping I have a tab for WooCommerce Shipping but not for WooCommerce Shipping & Tax. Apparently this is where I will add packages (boxes). However I see a place to add boxes in Shipping Zones > ‘myZone’ > USPS. Is this where I should add the boxes for this plug-in?

    Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out! The WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin does not add a separate WooCommerce Shipping & Tax tab in WooCommerce settings. Instead, it integrates directly with WooCommerce Shipping, which you are already seeing.

    Regarding package (box) settings:

    • If you’re using USPS through WooCommerce Shipping, you should add boxes under Shipping Zones → Your USPS shipping method. This is where you configure box sizes for real-time rates.
    • If you were expecting a different location to manage packages, could you please clarify which guide or documentation you were referring to?

Let me know if you need further assistance!

Hi – thank you for your quick response! I did think there might be another location as I was reading the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax / Woo Commerce Shipping Guide Setup and Configuration.

    https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shipping-and-tax/woocommerce-shipping/#troubleshooting

I assume that after I set up the packages (boxes) I will see the USPS rates with a discount?

    Hello trtpllc,

    Thank you for your reply.

Please note that the shipping features have moved to a new dedicated plugin WooCommerce Shipping.
I recommend you install this and refer to its documentation for updated information.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Best regards

Great, thank you! I should deactivate WooCommerce Shipping & Tax then. I see a note to do that.

You’re very welcome! ?? Yes, if you’re switching to the WooCommerce Shipping plugin, you can deactivate WooCommerce Shipping & Tax, especially if you’re not using its tax calculation features.

Let me know if you run into any issues or have any other questions—I’m happy to help!
