No shipping costs shown in cart or check-out

Hi! I have a big problem with shipping costs. Unless the customer is already logged-in and woocommerce, therefore, knows their address, no shipping costs show up in the cart or on checkout. Furthermore, on the checkout page, the shipping costs aren’t shown until the customer types in the entire address even though shipping costs are calculated by country, not region or similar. This has led to complaints since customers feel misled.
My setup is that I only ship to three countries and sell to a couple more (digital goods only). Ideally I would like the shipping cost in the cart and on checkout to show according to geolocation, but it would work if there would be an option to choose the country in the cart and if shipping during check out shows as soon as a country is selected and not only after the whole address was put in. Is there any solution to this? Thank you!
Resolved: I completely missed the correct setting.
