No shipping costs anymore when points reduce product amout to 0

Hi,

when a user has for e.g. 5000 points (1 Point = 1 EUR) and redeems them on a product that costs 5000 EUR. The product price on the checkout is 0 EUR. That’s correct.

But then there are no shipping costs anymore because the product is 0 EUR. Offering additional free shipping besides the points isn’t possible.

Sometimes the shipping costs might be higher than the product and then you will lose all the time money.

To increase the value of the points isn’t possible too because to offer 10 EUR when a customer buys a product 5000 EUR sounds a little weird.

So my question is. How is it possible the redeem points does not touch the shipping costs or any other fees?
