It seems there is a bug that needs to be fixed, for Woocommerce shipping. Issues started impacting my pricing and products at cart/checkout after adding COD as a payment option.

We were currently using PayPal, and it worked great with using different shipping classes to keep shipping costs organized. After enabling COD, two things are not working correctly:

    1) The Cart page is not displaying the shipping total. Instead of the price displayed, we get an error message with no price. The error reads “No shipping options were found” on the cart page.

    2) On the checkout page, after the page loads, the payment option is not working and not displaying. The COD is associated with only local pick up and those products are for internal use, so we did not want to display them on other products.

Click on the top button, (not re-order) to add to the cart and you can preview. These are the products that should show “Shipping Charges” with a total on the cart page, and Paypal on the checkout page.

Please help if you have any solutions to fix either issue.

  • Hi @jaclyncreations!

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand that shipping costs and payment options aren’t displayed on the cart and checkout pages when the COD payment method is activated, correct?

If so, as a first step, please try performing a conflict test to determine if a conflict between WooCommerce and your theme or another plugin is occurring; an outdated or malfunctioning code could be interfering.

You can perform a conflict test by temporarily switching your theme back to Storefront, disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and leaving the COD payment method activated; then check again if the issues persist.

If that solves it, reactivate the theme first and check again. Then, reactivate your other plugins, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

Before proceeding, please make sure that you have a backup of your site and database in place, and if something goes wrong, you can restore your site to a functioning state.

More about how to do a conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/.

Let us know how that goes for you!
