    Greetings,

I am attempting to reinstate Local Pick Up. In the process, the Shipping Zone I have enabled for Local Pick Up, the message “No Shipping Options Were Found”.

The correct hierarchy is established for the 4 Shipping Zones I use: Local, US, Canada, Europe. Local & US are my priority, with local being Chicago, IL. Between Local & US, all relevant shipping methods are duplicated (Free Shipping, Rate Table). The only difference between the 2 is that Local lists the applicable Zip Codes that Pick Up option is to be offered.

I have made sure that the product(s) being tested have weight and dimensions configured as often suggested. Though, using a flat rate shipping method, this is irrelevant.

Using debug, I am able to see the correct Zone is being applied, yet still receive the message “No Shipping Options Found”. I have inspected related settings to make sure all information necessary is in place. I had this issue previously when I temporarily offered Pick Up. To ease matters after the need for such ended, I deleted the local zone. Now that I am needing it again, I am having even more troubles setting this up.

Any added information will be appreciated. Please note the steps I have followed to avoid redundancies.

  • Hi there,

You mentioned that you’re using Table Rate.
Can you check how you set it up and particularly watch out for rows with Break?
When you check this option, you’re telling the plugin: If you reach this row of the table, stop the calculation from going any further. Meaning, you’re telling the process to break.

    Greetings,

First it would be best to detail that I have 4 Shipping Zones. 2 have Rate Tables. Of those 2, that functioned perfectly before re-adding Local Pick Up to one, only the one that had Local Pick Up added is not functioning properly. When I remove Local Pick Up, it works as it should – but is redundant to have.

Of the Rate Tables, they are very simple and based upon product shipping classes and quantities within each class based upon significant weight differences. In essence, the table operates as a means to assign the right flat rate as we do not believe in treating shipping fees as profit lever but as a part of COGS. Thanks,

    Hi there,

Can I confirm you are using
    Table Rate Shipping (https://woocommerce.com/products/table-rate-shipping/) ?

If you have an active subscription for the extension, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

We’ll likely need to login to have a further look at the issue, so please include a link to this forum thread, an admin login using the https://quickforget.com/ service for privacy, and a link to your site/a product for testing.

I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Yes, you can confirm this.

No, I do not have an active subscription – because COVID has cut into my revenues too deep to be able to afford these subscriptions for the time being. One must make do until things get better.

It won’t be resolved until the matter is fixed, but since my $2K+ per year paid for subscriptions doesn’t warrant finding out how your products are broken. Maybe Shopify will do us better until COVID passes.
